As the year draws to a close, Jinhua Polytechnic hosted a cultural event gathering to exchange new wishes, celebrating the New Year with tea fragrance for foreign teachers and students staying on campus during the winter break to experience the warmth of home and the festive atmosphere of the Spring Festival. Teachers and students from China and abroad gathered together to celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival.
At the beginning of the event, teachers from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office explained the origins of the Spring Festival and how it is celebrated traditionally in Jinhua to the foreign teachers and students present. Teachers and students from different countries congregated to write the Chinese character Fu, play shuttlecock, and send blessings, expressing their gratitude and fondness for China. The atmosphere at the event was lively, joyful, and filled with a strong sense of the New Year spirit.
During the event, the heads of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office shared with teachers and students the warm messages from Chinese President Xi Jinping's letter to international students studying in China. Working with the Party members of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, they prepared exquisite gifts to fulfill the small wishes of foreign teachers and students, express their care and good wishes, and encourage all teachers and students to make further progress in the new year. Yong Chun, an international student majoring in International Economics and Trade from Nepal, said, I felt at home during the Spring Festival in China. Thank all teachers for their care.
