The opening ceremony of the 2024 Jinhua-Africa TVET Cooperation and Exchange Month and the China-Africa Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Dialogue were held in Yiwu, Zhejiang on July 13th. The event is one of a series of China-Africa economic and trade relations and culture cooperation in 2024, with the theme of win-win cooperation between China and Africa. It is organized by Jinhua University of Vocational Technology, Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College and Zhejiang Guangsha Vocational and Technical University of construction, and co-organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Jinhua Committee, Yiwu municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Yiwu international chamber of commerce, Rwanda Polytechnic, Mondiapolis University and Sassou-Nguesso University.
Ali, Dean of the College of Political, Legal and Social Sciences of Mondiapolis University; Luo Guoqing, Deputy Secretary-General of Jinhua Municipal Government; Wang Heng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of African Studies of Zhejiang Normal University; Xu Meiyan, Vice Dean of Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College; Wang Jihua, Vice President of Zhejiang Guangsha Vocational and Technical University of construction Jiang Zhenlei, Deputy Secretary of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Jinhua Committee; Gong Ximing, member of the Party Committee of Yiwu municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau; Chen Hairong, vice president of Jinhua University of Vocational Technology attended the ceremony.
At the meeting, the flag-awarding ceremony of the African Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Study Camp was held. In the expert report session, Wang Heng, Wu Yongtao, Vice president of Jinhua Business Chamber of Commerce with Africa, and Wu Dongjun, manager of Business operation Department of Yiwu Talent Group, respectively made theme reports entitled African Youth Development and China-Africa Youth Exchange and Cooperation, Talent Needs of Chinese Enterprises in Africa under the New Situation and Yiwu Entrepreneurial Environment and Talent Service.
In the sharing and exchange session, Rwandan alumnus MUTANGANA JEAN DE DIEU from Jinhua University of Vocational Technology, MILANDOU MINOU POULASSI from Congo (Brazzaville), Benin student KAMALOU-DING ADISSA AKINOCHO from Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College, and Moroccan alumnus ASMOUN ZAKARIA shared their experiences in innovation and entrepreneurship and interacted with other African youths at the scene.
