From July 15th to 16th, a 2-day training program of “Chinese Language + Vocational Skills” in teaching ability improvement for higher education teachers from Istanbul, Türkiye was held at Jinhua University of Vocational Technology. Vice President Chen Hairong attended the event and delivered a speech. 16 teachers from universities such as Neveshir University, Istanbul Okan University, Ankara Hacettepe University and other universities in Türkiye participated.
Chen Hairong warmly welcomed the participants and introduced the school's educational situation. He hoped that both sides would work together to promote the application of "Chinese language + vocational skills" education in Türkiye and jointly cultivate bilingual and skilled local technical and vocational talents. He hoped to promote the exchange and cooperation between the vocational and technical education of the two countries and promote mutual understanding and cultural exchange between the two peoples.
At the meeting, Ms. Sema Gökenç Gülez, Associate Professor at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, spoke as a representative of the participating teachers. The head of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department introduced the School's vocational education international cooperation and exchange situation. Relevant teachers presented a comprehensive and in-depth display of the school's Chinese Plus Vocational Skills education work to the participating teachers from the perspectives of professional development, standards establishment, resource construction and practical application, as well as teaching implementation.
It is reported that the "Chinese language + vocational skills" education and teaching capacity enhancement training for Turkish Istanbul university teachers was hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by Zhejiang Normal University. Covering various aspects including Chinese language teaching, vocational skills education, and professional practice, the training provided participating teachers with cutting-edge academic perspectives and practical teaching techniques.
