From April 9 to 10, the “Second Training Session on High-Quality Development of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education in Zhejiang Province”, hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Research Center for Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education and organized by Jinhua University of Vocational Technology (JUVT), was successfully held at JUVT. The training focused on the theme of “Capacity Building for High-Quality Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education” and explored ways to improve the whole-chain governance capacity of Sino-foreign cooperative education in universities through various formats such as keynote lectures, exchange seminars, and discussions. Liang Kedong, President of JUVT, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The opening ceremony was presided over by Xu Liqin, Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Research Center for Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education. More than 90 administrators from nearly 50 universities inside and outside the province participated in the training.

In his speech, President Liang Kedong welcomed the attending experts and trainees. Eight experts in the field, including Professor Zhao Yanzhi, President of Shenyang University, delivered special reports covering various dimensions such as program application, legal regulations, and talent cultivation. They provided policy interpretations and experience sharing on key and difficult issues in Sino-foreign cooperative education. Among them, the Dean of JUVT's Waikato International College gave a special report entitled “Focusing on Connotation, Introducing and Drawing on Best Practices, and Developing with Distinguishing Features – The Educational Practice of Waikato International College.”

On the afternoon of April 10, the trainees visited JUVT's International Cultural Exchange Hall, the History Museum, and the Intelligent Precision Manufacturing Industrial Park, among other key facilities.
